📜 Pasteleria Plaza – General Cake Policy

At Pasteleria Plaza, we are committed to providing fresh, high-quality cakes and excellent service. To ensure clarity and a smooth ordering experience, please review the following policies carefully before placing your order.

Policies & Ordering Terms

To maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency, we follow structured ordering policies. Please review the information below regarding deposits, production timelines, delivery terms, and customization guidelines before confirming your order.

Orders & Deposits

Certain custom and specialty cakes require a non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering.

Orders requiring a deposit are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

No deposit, no order.

For standard cakes that do not require a deposit, full payment is due at the time of pickup.

Ordering Timeline

We recommend placing standard cake orders at least 3 days in advance.

Custom cake orders should be placed 3 days to 1 week in advance, depending on design complexity.

During holidays, graduation season, and high-volume weekends, we may reach full production capacity. Once our schedule is full, we are unable to accept additional orders.

Early ordering is strongly encouraged to ensure availability.

Custom Designs

All custom decoration requests must be discussed in person to ensure accuracy and clear communication.

While we make every effort to match inspiration photos or design references, slight variations in color, decorative details, and artistic elements may occur due to the handmade nature of our products.

Each cake is uniquely crafted and may not be an exact replica of reference images.

Changes & Cancellations

Changes to size, flavor, or design must be requested at least 48 hours before pickup, unless otherwise stated.

Deposits are non-refundable.

For orders canceled with sufficient notice (when applicable), any amount paid beyond the deposit may be refunded.

Pick-Up Responsibility

Once a cake leaves our bakery, full responsibility transfers to the customer.

We are not responsible for damage caused by transport, improper handling, heat exposure, or accidents after pickup.

Customers are responsible for transporting cakes in a clean, flat, and air-conditioned vehicle.

Cakes are delicate. Sudden stops, sharp turns, or warm environments may cause damage.

We do not repair or replace cakes after they leave our bakery.

Delivery Policy

Delivery is available for an additional fee depending on location.

Upon delivery, a confirmation photo may be taken to document proper setup and condition.

Once delivery is completed and documented, full responsibility transfers to the customer.

Pasteleria Plaza is not responsible for damage caused by venue staff, guests, environmental conditions, or third parties after delivery.

Customers must provide a stable, level surface capable of supporting the cake.

Outdoor Events & Weather

Heat, direct sunlight, humidity, and uneven surfaces can damage cakes.

We strongly recommend keeping cakes refrigerated until approximately one (1) hour before serving.

We are not responsible for damage caused by outdoor conditions after pickup or delivery.

Structural Support

Tiered, tall, and specialty cakes contain internal food-safe supports (including dowels and structural rods) to maintain stability.

These supports are essential for structural integrity and must be removed before cutting and serving.

The client is responsible for ensuring that anyone handling or serving the cake is aware of these internal supports.

Cakes containing internal supports are not designed for forceful contact, face-smashing traditions, or intentional impact.

Pasteleria Plaza assumes no liability for injuries, damages, or accidents resulting from misuse, improper handling, or intentional force applied to the cake after it leaves our control.

Serving Size

Serving sizes are estimates based on standard cake portions.

If larger slices are served and the cake runs out, we are not responsible for providing additional cake.

Allergies

Our kitchen handles nuts, wheat, dairy, soy, and other common allergens.

While we offer nut-free options upon request, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to possible cross-contamination.

We do not offer gluten-free cakes.

Wedding & Quinceañera Cakes

Wedding and quinceañera cakes are subject to a separate and more detailed policy due to their size, structure, delivery coordination, and planning requirements.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. We strongly recommend placing wedding and quinceañera cake orders at least three (3) months in advance, especially during high-volume seasons.

Refund Policy

Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, all sales are final once the cake has been picked up or delivered.

Refunds are not provided for cakes that have been consumed, partially consumed, or damaged after leaving our control.

Production Capacity

To maintain quality and consistency, we accept a limited number of custom cake orders per day.

Once our production capacity is reached, we are unable to accept additional orders.
